OUR STORY

Back Ground:

Mexi Grande Arts is proposed to be Creative Center, a place where artists, art lovers and art buyers will meet.

Mexi Grande Arts started as a graphics design class assignment in September 2013 where the tutor asked each student to found a company, design a logo, write the company’s background including vision, mission and objectives, deal in different type of  products and advertise them using promotional items like t-shirts, cups, envelopes, banners, flyers, posters and others not mentioned.

In 2014, we moved from class assignment, to the school exhibition level where it was show casing its products for example paintings, drawings, fashion, textile, graphics Design, Sculpture and jewellery.

From 2015 - December 2018, we worked on individual assignments for instance drawings, jewelry, textile, fashion, painting and small company assignments.

From December 2018, we moved from individual assignments to an online store. 

Vision:

Our main vision is to transform lives through Art.

Mission:

• To inspire the upcoming generation, making them stronger in doing what they love.

• To train more artists in order to share, plan, execute and expand ideas not only throughout  Uganda  but also the rest of Africa and the whole world.

• To reduce job searching among youth, since art is self employing, they can be trained hence they will start their work shops and not think of job searching.
